Guest Post: Nostrathomas

Throwback to the Future®

As the New Year approaches and we prepare to embrace a novel decade
filled with new experiences and new opportunities, it is only
appropriate that we must first reflect on the past, whence we have
come.  Despite what an o-so-friendly warthog once thought, I firmly
believe that it is always important to look back into the past for
answers, for guidance or just to reminisce on good times. So in light
of this, Nostrathomas aka The Fundamentalist (yours truly) is calling
for a revisit of the classics, twoguyswonblog style. Since we all grew
up with Carson Daily in our living rooms, I think is only appropriate
that we represent our MTV generation with a music video. So I’m
calling you out twoguyswonblog, to produce a bangin rendition of
Coolio’s chart topping 90s hit with a twist: ‘Bloggers Paradise.’ Make
me proud boys.

Best Holiday Movies...

Living in sunny California it sometimes gets hard to get excited for the holiday season given that we don't really have seasons out here.  Its always sunny, and for those of you not lucky enough to live in California you have my sincerest apologies.  For about three weeks a year though, I do wish I was lucky enough to have a break from the sun and maybe even some snow, so I could truly know what it is like to have a "White Christmas".  In order to get pumped up for the holidays, I usually have to rely on spending lots of money on Christmas gifts for the fam and friends, or by turning on my electric fireplace and watching a Christmas flick.  A list of my favorite Christmas movies for you...

  1. Home Alone - Growing up I used to dream every night that I was Kevin McCallister watching movies I'm not supposed to, ruining my brother's (who I never had) room, and fending off Harry and Marv with paint cans and blow torches.  My favorite Christmas movie by far and always brings me back to my childhood.
  2. Christmas Vacation - Nothing like a Griswold family Christmas.
  3. Christmas Story - Just a classic Christmas movie that runs for 24 hours every year on Christmas Eve, and the only time I ever really want a Red Ryder BB Gun
  4. Elf - Could be Will Farrell's best movie, and I'm the world's largest Stepbrothers fan so this is a biiiig claim for me.
  5. Bad Santa - Billy Bob playing himself.  Nuff' said.

Bar Darsh

There are 2 big issues with this article here that reports San Diego police are investigating a brawl from Sunday night that may have involved Chargers players.  The first is the obvious fact that the Chargers, one game out of 1st place, are at a bar during the final stages of the season.  The second is where they chose to party.  Bar West, better known as Bar Darsh, epitomizes everything that is wrong with PB.  If the show Tool Academy had an undercover reunion show called "Relapse - The Fight Back" - it would be filmed at Bar West.

Just Cause

A little Marissa Miller to start your weekend

Reunited and it Feels So Good

This weekend the boys are back in town.  Breecka and I will be up to our old shenanigans, shithead is along for the ride and LT has escaped the treacherous N Zed terrain to come party and be reunited.  And what better way to kick off a mini reunion than tearing up SD party bus style.  I suppose we can call it the unofficial "launch" of TwoGuysWonBlog, the only thing missing is the catered Jerry's Deli.  Special guest Patrick Schwaysted will be making an appearance for all of us hopefully.  The weekend will be filled with lots of La Playa , some drunk mini hoop bball, and some serious debauchery.  I can only hope that everyone who reads TwoGuysWonBlog (and sometimes a little lady) is lucky enough to have a group of friends like me. (No homo)  Over and out.
